<3 cutest.
It’s something that just has to be included in an Indian film these days. It’s what attracts and lures people (mainly horny guys) into a theatre. Sex. What can’t it do? I remember watching a film in India where it would be quite normal until a girl comes in, doing a ridiculous dance and prancing around in what appears to be a sequined bra. And out come the mobile phones. There’s no point hiding it, every single male in the row before me quickly grabs their phone and begins recording the entire song. Why? Because of a woman exposing her body. And you know, that’s okay and all, but what really gets me annoyed is this balance Indians are supposedly trying to create (or not create). Right now, there are people who claim that they will never succumb to the Western culture and that they will never forget their Indian way of life. But at the same time, these are the same people who watch nothing but Hollywood, try and rap Eminem songs, wear Western clothing, and act like English is a gift from God. Why would you parade around saying you value your Indian culture, when you don’t actually practice it. Now, Indian movies, that’s another story. They want to imitate Hollywood by including scenes revealing sexual intimacy and whatnot, but the thing is, they never actually take their clothes off. So while they provide the illusion of intercourse occurring, they never actually get very far… in fact, most of the time, they are both wrapped in individual blankets, yet somehow manage to have sex. How this occurs, is beyond me, but all I can say, is that they are truly the defining element of ‘safe sex’.
